Blood Donation Appt.

So today I went to donate blood for the first time, and the location was a little bit far from where I was; 10467 Wallace ave bronx, NY. The location for my site was in the lower Manhattan; 67st and Lexington ave, and as my first time It wasn't so bad of a thing. The specialist there were very supportive, and likewise the snacks were very edible a stack of chips and juices accompanied by some vast choice of tea blend. For my first time going to the station was very simple because i was asked to go straight down the hall were i was supposably going to be seated. I was asked to take blood in the back area, but instead I got in trouble because of this, because the place i was station in wasn't supposably for whole blood donors. The station where i went first was for platelets. So the nurse was asked to transfer me to the whole-blood section. I was told that it was where all the first time blood donors went. So once in the whole blood section, I got settled in and the nurses started explaining that i was sectioned in the whole blood section because i needed to know what type of blood type I was and it was recommended to know that first, instead of going straight to the platelets. There i saw a man seated in the end of the station who i believe went in with me when i first got registered for blood donation. I then switched the tv on as most of the donors where doing where i was in the platelets section, and i started watching the news channel where then the nurse told me if i was going to watch the news channel and I without a doubt told her yes that it was all i ever liked watching. Afterwards she asked me if i was watching the Yankees game? I wasn't really into baseball games at the time but I knew that there was something wrong about the Yankees game where a lot of people were giving thumbs down because they were against the Yankees winning instead of the Mets. So the Mets fan were mainly responsible for giving the thumbs down in the Yankee game.
